Aluminum bedding block
A special CNC—machined aircraft-grade 6061-T6 aluminum bedding block stiffens the receiver area of the stock to provide a rigid, stable platform for the barreled action. The combination of the specially designed hand-laminated raised comb Monte Carlo composite stock (a combination of Aramid, graphite, unidirectional fibers and fiberglass) and the molded-in aluminum bedding plate results in greater structural integrity and improved accuracy. Available on Super VarmintMaster, Ultra Lightweight and Accumark models.

Specially-designed Monte Carlo stock
Our Monte Carlo stock is specifically designed to improve shooter performance and accuracy. The raised comb is cast off to allow for quicker eye-to-scope alignment and faster target acquisition, and to reduce felt recoil. The forearm is dual tapered (back and upward) to deliver better grip and control under recoil, and is flat-bottomed to provide a steady, stable rest. All Mark V rifles feature three predetermined bedding points…strategically and precisely placed to consistently deliver the highest level of accuracy (Accumark® rifles feature free-floated barrels).

Concave target crown
Fluted barrels are button-rifled and feature an 11-degree concave target crown (Ultra Lightweight models feature a recessed field crown). The symmetrical parabolic shape of the target crown assures even gas dispersion and precise alignment as the bullet exits the muzzle. Available in the Super VarmintMaster and the Accumark.

Recessed field crown
Concentrically-perfect, the recessed field crown assures critical accuracy as the bullet leaves the barrel. By recessing the crown, we provide additional protection from possible damage that could result in deteriorated accuracy. Available on Ultra Lightweight models.

Factory-tuned trigger assembly
The finest in the firearms industry, the Weatherby trigger assembly is a key component in the accuracy potential of our rifles. Fully adjustable with sear engagement pre-set at .008 to .014 with a let-off weight of four pounds. Delivers a clean, crisp trigger that will precisely break each and every time.

Heat-dissipating flutes
Special longitudinal fluting system increases barrel surface to reduce weight and dissipate heat, maintaining critical accuracy. Distinctive and functional. Available on Accumark, Ultra Lightweight and the Super VarmintMaster models.
