I installed one of these on a Mark V Hunter in .308. Not that you need a brake on one of these guns, but it is only six pounds without scope. I zeroed it while I was waiting on the brake. It was low to moderate at best recoil. Got it sighted in quickly, then shot it again with the brake. What a difference. It now feels like shooting a .243 or maybe even a .223. I could shoot it all day. Very pleased with this brake and the fit and finish is impeccable. Normal Weatherby stuff.

I recently purchased a Weatherby Mark V Hunter 7mm. Rem mag. I shot it three times without the Accubrake ST, the recoil was average for a 7mm. Then I attached the Accubrake ST. It was amazing how much it reduced the recoil! It fit perfectly and looks great. I would highly recommend this product! As with all Weatherby rifles and accessories it is high quality,

7mm Rem isn’t enough recoil to really need a brake but this definitely makes it more pleasant. It cut enough recoil that I would have no problem letting my wife shoot it instead of her 6.5 CM if the situation called for it. Everybody shoots better with less recoil, just get one.

I cannot recommend this enough. 300 Weatherby definitely has a bite to it, manageable but not enjoyable. I broke and sighted my Mark V in without the muzzle brake and was left with a sore and bruised shoulder. After I decided to purchase this muzzle brake, I can barely feel the recoil. I felt like this had even less recoil than my 7mm-08. It also fits the rifle perfectly, as you’d expect. Overall, I couldn’t be happier.
