Bought one of these in 7mm Backcountry. Out the box the rifle has great ergonomics, the triggertech trigger is crisp (although I would prefer a step up from the primary). I really enjoy the PEAK 44 adapter for its versatility, and the 20 MOA rail is nice if you plan on putting a bigger bell scope on on the gun and want to use medium to low rings. The HUSH hydro dipped stock had some wear out the box from shipping, but the barreled action cerakote is super tough. Have put about 100rds through the barrel, it took about 40 to actually break it in and start getting consistent groups. Grouping depends greatly on the ammo. finding it can shoot an ok 1 in average to shooting 1/2 MOA with Federal Premium ammo. When cleaning it for the first time I was able to see with a bore snake camera that at the end of the immaculate barrel there were marks where the machine held it during the rifling process. Though disappointing to see it fail to be perfect all the way through the barrel, Weatherby did even the marks up all the way around so in the end it doesn’t throw accuracy off too hard. To wrap it all up, I really love the gun and it has been able to not only handle but perform with a brand new cartridge that matches the gun in great performance. 307 paired with 7BC is a combo that performance for the price would make many hunters dream rifle cartridge/combo a reality.

Rusty, the man said he uses .308 caliber, not a .308. .308 caliber could be anything from a .300 Blackout to a .30-378 Wby. 🙂

Rusty.. Learn to shoot and you won’t have such poor results with smaller calibers that are more than capable.

Chad, do not use a 308 to hunt bison and moose. It’s ridiculously underpowered for such large game.

Fantastic feel and smooth rifle. Use 308 caliber for white tail deer and larger game. Bison, Elk, moose and Sika. Very pleased with accuracy and consistency. Barrel cools off quickly in comparison to other rifles I have.
