This custom drop point hunting knife was forged out of a stainless Weatherby rifle barrel. A 52100 high-carbon steel rod was placed inside the barrel before forging. This created a unique and beautiful San-Mai Damascus pattern, with the blade’s cutting edge at 60 HRC after heat treatment.

The 3/16 inch thick blade is 4 3⁄„8 inches long, while the knife’s overall length is 9 inches.

The blade is paired with a custom ebony handle with walnut and maple spacers. A 300 Weatherby Magnum shell case head embedded in the pommel illustrates the blade’s unique origin. The blade’s finish is acid-etched for better corrosion resistance in the field. Included with the blade is a custom molded leather sheath.
