The Adventure SD is built on Weatherby’s newest bolt action rifle platform, the Model 307. Meant to complement the historic Mark V® and Vanguard® lineups, the Model 307 action is a 2-lug, fully cylindrical action compatible with many aftermarket accessories. Model 307 is designed to accommodate the vast offerings of stocks, triggers, rails, mounts, and magazines that exist in today’s marketplace. Purchased the 307SD3 weeks ago and took it to the range two days ago I tried the Hornaday 154 SS tees and the Barnes 170 TTS exes bull shot well under a half inch three shot groups after barrel breaking of 25 rounds very impressed with this rifle I’ve owned many other Weatherby‘s Mark vibes and vanguards. They all shot very well, but not near as well. As this one I highly recommend the 307 line of rifles. I’m unable to post pictures on this website wish I could you wouldn’t believe how accurate this rifle is

Just bought a 307 adventure 270 WM. This rifle shoots great every load it likes from 130 to 150 under a inch. Great build and quality! Got a winner here.

I recently purchased a 307 Adventure SD in 7mm Backcountry. I enjoy the look and feel of a traditional wood stock and the 20 inch threaded barrel is definitely an attraction. I hunt in WY and the rifle feels like it’s at home. I was a little hesitant because of the steel case vs reloadability. It turns out that it’s a non-issue. I did follow Weatherby’s suggested break-in and the 7mm Adventure SD is shooting the 175 grain Federal Fusion Tipped well inside of 3/4″ and the 170 grain Terminal Ascent under 1″ with no adjustment between the two right out of the box. The recoil is very manageable with a supressor and should not intimidate. I absolutely love this gun and will reach for it from now on over several others in the safe.

As a wood worker by trade i fell fast for this rig! Was skeptical weather or not the wood would be as good on it as it shows in the pictures. Its probably even a bit better I love it and wouldn’t you know its a shooter in 7prc!! Awesome job guys

Recently got this in 6.5 RPM and it’s an absolute beautiful rifle, very accurate right out of the box. Blending old-school with new-school was a great decision. Great job everyone!

Just received my new 307 PRC and it is superb. There are few things that I purchase that leave me completely satisfied and this is it. While those that read this might think this is a bit contrived I am confident those who purchase this series of rifle will very pleased.

I have a Mark 5 in 300 WTB mag my go to deer rifle for years.Love the gun and the way it shoots.Only thing I’d change is a detachable mag in place of the hinged floor plate .
I see this new gun also has the hinged floor plate. Regrettable or I’d probably buy one also!

What a great rifle. Just received it from my local dealer in a 270 win caliber. I’m a huge fan of the traditional walnut look on rifles. Weatherby has definitely hit a homerun with this model. cant wait get a scope mounted and shoot.

I do not have any views on the 307 other than this looker. Without firing this weapon looks alone has me saying your wife will kill you. If it’s anything like the my 300 Weatherby mark V go buy it.
