Guaranteed Sub-Moa Accuracy

All Vanguard® rifles are guaranteed to shoot a 3-shot group of .99” or less at 100 yards (SUB-MOA) from a cold barrel when used with Weatherby® factory or premium ammunition within Two-Years of Verified Purchase Date to Original Purchaser.

Cold Hammer Forged Barrel

Maximizes consistency and produces SUB-MOA Guaranteed Accuracy when used with premium factory ammunition.

Two-Stage Trigger

Robust adjustable match quality, two-stage trigger (adjustable down to 2.5 lbs.) with a clean break.

3-Position Safety

Safely unload rifle or have bolt locked. 3-position safety allows for two safe positions to ensure bolt is locked.

Integral Recoil Lug

Fully Enclosed Bolt Sleeve

    Purchased the 257 WM sighted in with the Barnes 100grTTSX the barrel loves them. My W Vanguard 7mm RM loves the Barnes TSX as well very happy.

    Purchased this rifle in 30-06. After shooting in the barrel it holds at MOA groups. Next is developing hand loads with different recipes for the perfect load. Shoots very well, trigger is smooth, action is smooth. All in all a very well built rifle and two whitetails to its credit so far.

    Bought this rifle in 308. It is sub-moa accurate, and the trigger is a dream right out of the box. I looked at other brands of rifles in the same price range, but they felt cheaply made in comparison. So far, I am very happy with the purchase. Looking forward to first hunt.

    Vanguard® Talon

    The first thing you’ll notice about the Vanguard Talon, aside from Weatherby’s legendary fit and finish, is the stock. The Talon is equipped with a carbon fiber Peak 44™ Blacktooth™ stock, the same stock we use on the Backcountry Ti 2.0. To help reduce the recoil on this ultra-light set up, the stock features Peak 44™’s 3DHEX® recoil pad and threaded Accubrake ST.
