The Vanguard® Spike Camp™ is equipped with a Boyds™ laminate wood stock. Boyds is known to produce the toughest most durable wood stocks on the market today, their top-grade hardwood materials are treated and sealed to make sure every Boyds stock is consistent and durable to stand the test of time. Their Spike Camp stock paired with our Weatherby­­® #3 contour barrel makes for a deadly combination.

Weatherby’s Legendary Vanguard

The Weatherby Vanguard sets the standard for accuracy with its sub-MOA guarantee. Its cold hammer-forged barrel and match-grade trigger ensure your shots hit the mark consistently. The barrel is threaded and ready for your favorite suppressor or muzzle brake.

The Boyds Spike Camp stock is a versatile and high-performing option perfectly suited for a Vanguard barreled action. Its short Monte Carlo design ensures a proper cheek weld, enhancing comfort and precision with every shot. Featuring a free-floated barrel channel, this stock maximizes accuracy by minimizing interference. With a length of pull measuring 13.5 inches, it provides a comfortable fit for shooters of all sizes. The ergonomic thumbhole grip not only enhances control but also reduces fatigue during extended hunts and range time.

All Vanguard’s actions feature an integral recoil lug, 3-position safety, adjustable two-stage trigger, and one-piece fluted bolt body.

All Vanguard® rifles are guaranteed to shoot a 3-shot group of .99” or less at 100 yards (SUB-MOA) from a cold barrel when used with Weatherby® factory or premium ammunition within Two-Years of Verified Purchase Date to Original Purchaser.

Cold Hammer Forged Barrel

Maximizes consistency and produces SUB-MOA Guaranteed Accuracy when used with premium factory ammunition.

Two-Stage Trigger

Robust adjustable match quality, two-stage trigger (adjustable down to 2.5 lbs.) with a clean break.

3-Position Safety

Safely unload rifle or have bolt locked. 3-position safety allows for two safe positions to ensure bolt is locked.

Integral Recoil Lug

One-piece forged and machined receiver features integral recoil lug for the utmost in strength and structural integrity.

Monte Carlo Stock

    I saw this rifle on your website shortly after returning from a caribou/ moose hunt in Newfoundland. I thought it would work perfectly on the day-packing hunts. I took it west to Montana this fall, hunting mule deer. While I did not get to click off the safety, it packed up and down those NW MT mountains well attached to my Kuiu pack.
    I finally got to put it to the test back home in the treestand while hunting Whitetails in VA. At 250 yards this rifle is a tack driver, it will be gun in the deer woods for years to come. Thanks for making such an incredible product.
