Steve B –
When I purchased my LT in 6.5 WBY RPM I was a little concerned about barrel heat in a lighter barrel with a magnum round. However, I can now say that I did the recommended barrel break-in and did not notice any significant barrel heat. I own an accumark in 300 wby and recently an Ultralight in 257 wby. The LT in 6.5 is more comparable to my accumark in signs of barrel heat. 3 shot groups not a problem, 5 shot groups not a problem. The gun and round will shoot as well as the shooter. I love my LT it is light, accurate, and is a pleasure to shoot. I have many plans for it.
