Great reviews from all the boys on your site I’ve been a proud Weatherby honor since the 70s I recently purchased a 257 Weatherby in the weather mark works great in Wyoming Antelope and deer the new stock design the trigger the feel of the whole gun is just perfect I plan on getting another weathermark in another caliber I’ve hunted Canada Alaska the western states Africa four times I carried a Weatherby every time performed flawlessly works great the first two groups out of my 257 average 5/8 of an inch I couldn’t be happier
Just an update to my earlier review….
It took a little time but i finally received my 6.5 RPM dies from RCBS so i studied as much information as i could find and loaded up several loads to try with my favorite 6.5 bullet.. The 120gr. Barnes tsx. I know it doesn’t have the best B.C. but it works like nobody’s business..
Although nearly all of my loads shot great …My final results with the Weatherby weathermark in 6.5 rpm netted me a .488″ 3 shot group in excess of 3300 fps through my ohler 35p chronograph with that bullet.. More than sufficient to take anything I will ever hunt with this rifle…
Also worth noting….the Weatherby factory 127gr. Barnes LRX load grouped into .623 for a 3 shot group on this trip to the range… As much as i love hand-loading(40+ years of only shooting handload’s) …that factory 127LRX load will be my “other ” option for hunting..
Thank you Weatherby for your incredible products!

I have the Mark V in Weathermark and I must say it is the best purchase I have made in years!! I have other Weatherby’s too,and they all shoot great. But this Weathermark is my favorite, in .257 I can reach out there and feel more confident about success than before. It makes even ME look good!! It is a very attractive rifle and offers the resistance needed on some long days of hunting when less than desirable weather has set in. 4 shots after bore sighting and I was 1 inch high at 100 yards, with 3 shots touching. Perfect! And again, it is’nt me, its the Weatherby.
I recently purchased a Weatherby weathermark in 6.5 Weatherby RPM.. It has a great trigger that was extremely easy to adjust to the exact pull weight that i wanted… Also very important to me is that the function of the magazine box was flawless in cycling shells.. It looks great and is very light but not too light for my preference and the stock shape fits me perfectly which makes it extremely easy to shoot.
The first day at the range it lived up to its sub minute guarantee with two groups that I shot to zero at 100 yards were under 1 inch and then I shot a 2 3/4″ group at 300 yards … all shot with Weatherby 127gr. Lrx factory ammo..
I am extremely pleased with this purchase and ready to take it hunting this fall !

Great rifle for the price, mine is in 300 Win Mag and it lives up to the guarantee of less than .99 in for 3 shots!
Considering it’s the lowest price mark 5, it is a wonderful product.
