This versatile autoloader will soon become the only shotgun you’ll ever need. Unique dual valve system offers the utmost in versatility and dependability.
Description
The Weatherby SA-08 Upland Semi-Auto Shotgun features a walnut stock and forend with a satin finish. 22 LPI checkering on the pistol grip and forend aid in shooting control. The barrel has a matte blued finish and a vent rib and brass bead. Based on Weatherby’s dependable dual-valve, gas-operated system, with a chrome-plated bolt, the SA-08 cycles 2-3/4″ and 3″ shells smoothly without binding or jamming. A CNC-machined aircraft-grade alloy receiver significantly reduces the shotgun’s weight, making it one of the lightest upland shotguns on the market. The Weatherby SA-08 Deluxe Semi-Auto Shotgun comes with 3 screw-in full choke tubes (full, mod, and improved cylinder); threads accept optional Weatherby choke tubes. A drop out trigger assembly allows rapid field disassembly, and the chrome-lined barrel cleans effortlessly.

Bought 20 gauge Upland with 28 inch barrel. Only 100 rounds (4 rounds of skeet) so far but shot a clean 25 on the second round. No malfunctions of any kind. Best example of a Turkish gun I have seen. Excellent fit and finish. Excellent trigger, better than on guns costing much more. Easy to disassemble and clean. Will comment further after a few thousand more shells, but initial impression is very favorable.

I bought mine over 2 years ago and have yet to regret it. From the moment I picked it up to mount on my shoulder, it just felt right. I was scared at not spending more since this was my first auto-loader and thought I would have to spend much more to get something as reliable as this gun. The recoil is so minimal that I’ve shot multiple rounds of sporting clays in the hot, humid Minnesota summers without the shoulder even noticing. The only drawback I have is that there isn’t options for attaching a sling to it, but that is small potatoes compared to the overall awesomeness of this shotgun. Plus, it’s light enough to where you don’t really need a sling anyways! Just remember toregularly clean it and you won’t have any problems in the field. I can’t wait to buy one for my wife and daughter someday as the recoil, even in this 12 guage, will not hinder them at all.
